I retired in 2017 due to health concerns. Going from 100 miles per hour to 0 is not the easiest thing I have ever done. I began to watch a YouTube™ personality call the “Raja”. Before I continue, let me give you some information on Raja. Raja is the nick name for Mr. Scott Richter. Look up this gentleman’s name online. He was the first of a generation of internet expert’s decades ago to really leverage huge spam distribution lists. When the internet was new, they use of spam mailings. This was when the internet was even more unregulated as they are to today. Scott Richter saw a business opportunity. He also got in trouble both legally and financially because of it. Do your own research on Scott and make up your own mind. I kind of think he was simply innovative and creative. It led to maybe some greed.
Today, Scott “Raja” Richter has come up with yet another business. Using YouTube™ as a platform, he has marketed his FREE slot app, merchandise, theme cruises, and appearances at casino’s. In the past few years he has recreated himself as an internet star and yet again a money machine. It all has to do with human nature and it works extremely well. This article does not condemn Scott Richter, The Big Jackpot or YouTube™. They are all playing by the rules. It does show the weakness of human nature.
Back to my personal sorry. Every day I would play this FREE slot game. It was new and fun. I was looking for advantages to win more often. The game gave daily goals based on games played and number of spin’s accomplished. Initially it was all about winning coins. The coins let you play and risk higher amounts. It would seem, the more coins you had, they more points you would have to establish status. Nothing could have farther from the truth. When you were out of coins, you could go to the chat sites and beg. Other players could send you coins. You could BUY coins for real money. Hum, free slot game that costs. Or you could join a team with players that had lots of coins to give just their team members.
One day I received an invitation to join a team. The teams play a weekly contest for bragging rights. The name of the them was, “The Shadow is With You”. They were a top tier team rated as “Premier”. The recruiter was name, “Paul Shadow”. It seems his daughter or granddaughter was the original team owner.
As I do in business, I established a relationship with Paul online and other members of this team. I am very analytical, so I created an Excel spreadsheet showing each of the 100 members progress during the week. Every day I would show the leaders on the private team chat. No one had a clue how I could crunch these numbers and they soon made me a “team leader”. I rejected the title and instead simply wanted to teach folks how to play the FREE slot game better. I became online, what I was in real life, a trainer.
You see, there was a secret to the game. At key times, you could increase your bet to max and almost be guaranteed to will high amounts of coins. Just like in counting cards in blackjack, you had to wait then go all in. I mastered this technique and had a HUGE stash of coins. I thought people how to do the same and made more friends. Then I go mad that folks would take my gifts of coins, not use what I taught them and lose all of it. They would complain about how bad the game was and be extremely negative. My recruiter Paul Shadow, delete me from the team. Like my life as a person would be over now. But it had the desired effect. I joined another team and all I wanted to do was get revenge. I would out play my old team and crush them for deleting me. Human nature his me big time.

We all need folks that respect us and need us. To sustain this status, you had to find a way to lead your team with points not coins. These points allowed your team to win the weekly tournament. I will give you one guess how you could increase your odds? Let me help, it was not FREE. Let’s talk again about Scott “Raja” Richter.
The Raja understood inclusiveness, exclusivity, competition, greed, and that means he understood human nature at its core. So, after playing this FREE game for a while, you want to gain more points for your team. The TEAM depended on you and your great skills. Now you could BUY experience level multipliers. If your normal points for winning a slot pull would be 2 points. You could buy a multiple to multiply this by 2, 10, 15, 20, 25 all the way now up to 100X. Easy to win when you pay to win. The higher the multiple, the more it cost. The longer you had the multiple, the more it cost.
One month I spent $500.00 on extra’s for this FREE online Slot Machine. I noticed some folks seem to always be at the top of the winning charts. Then I realized what was really happening. They were my hook. If they could do it, afford it and put in the time, so could I. Competition is a very strong personality trait. The only problem was the real top tier players were all a scam. They played 24/7, they played at all hours of the night, they always had the highest of multiples and rarely if ever lost a 10-minute competition which happened all day long on all three of the slot games. It became clear the FREE game was rigged.
What was happening was relatively simple. A screen name like “000” would win all the time and be on the leading premier team. This player (000) was not a player at all. It was several players using the same screen name. Just so happens they were on one of the app’s designer’s team as well, “Team Raja”. Who would have thought that? Maybe these certain top tier players might have access the very high multiplies at low or no cost to them. Who knows, anything is possible. Maybe these top tier players knew the secrets of how the app works to take advance of having a higher percentage win of both tournaments and coins to play the game. Hard to say.
However, it became very clear that I was hooked personally, I knew better, and it was very addictive. So, I just had enough. I deleted the game off my iPhone and iPad. I did not play it for four months. Yesterday, I downloaded the app again. I wanted to see if I still existed on the app. I did. I had the same coins that I had before I stopped playing. Just for fun, I began to play again. It was EASY. Way to easy. I came about an inch from pay for an increased multiple AGAIN as well as joining a team. I stopped myself and wrote this blog entry.
If you know me, met me or read my blog postings; you know I am a very serious person. This really happened to me. It could happen to anyone. If you have the cash, not issue. If like me you have the cash but also have a compulsive personality, BEWARE. Remember, all the Raja did was give us all the platform. He did not hold a gun to our heads.
